In Silang Cavite. The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) thru its Human Rights Education and Promotion Office (HREPO) headed by Atty. Francis Tom F. Temprosa, Director IV, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Public Safety College -National Police College headed by its President, PLtGen Ricardo F. De Leon, (Ret), Ph.D., to strengthen the current NPC curriculum for their Officer Basic Course (OBC) which aims to incorporate human rights concepts in their subjects. Further, the MOA also aims to establish a Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) within NPC.
