NPC’s GUHIT AT PINTA On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest Champions Cyber Resiliency and Community Safety

The National Police College (NPC), through its Center for Community Policing, successfully hosted an On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest on February 15, 2025, at the prestigious Heroes Hall, NPC Silang Campus, Cavite. Spearheaded by Chief of the Center Dr. Bonifacio T. Rain, with the strong encouragement and support of NPC Director Dr. Romeo S. Magsalos, the event highlighted the crucial role of education in fostering cyber resiliency and community safety.

With the theme “Cyber Resiliency Through Education: Building Safer Communities Together,” the competition aimed to inspire awareness of digital threats and the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a secure cyber environment. Twenty talented participants from various public and private senior high schools in Silang, Cavite, alongside student officers from the Public Safety Officer Advanced Course (PSOAC), showcased their creativity and advocacy through powerful artworks.

Dr. Magsalos commended the participants for their artistic interpretations, emphasizing that cyber awareness and education are vital in today’s digital landscape. Dr. Rain also underscored the importance of engaging the youth in community-oriented programs that bridge law enforcement and public cooperation.
