In celebration of National Women’s Month and as part of the agency’s morale and welfare activities, an Orientation on the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) and Relevant Laws and Policies was successfully conducted on March 24, 2025. The event was held both face-to-face and via Zoom from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with Atty. Noel M. Capulong, DPSSG, Ed.D. serving as the resource speaker.

The orientation was organized under the guidance of Dr. Romeo S. Magsalos, DPSSG, MPSA, Director of the National Police College, who continues to advocate for professional development and gender sensitivity across the institution.

The session aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding of workplace policies and the mechanisms in place to address concerns related to sexual harassment and decorum.

Specifically, the session focused on: The roles and responsibilities of CODI, Key legal frameworks including the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (RA 7877) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), alongside relevant institutional guidelines, and CODI’s investigative procedures and protocols.

A total of sixty (60) personnel—23 females and 37 males—from the Silang, Pampanga, Cebu, and Davao campuses participated in the event. Also in attendance were six (6) on-the-job trainees from Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Psychology programs.

This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment, under the leadership of Dr. Magsalos, to fostering a respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace for all.
