The Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) Center for Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) hosted the “Data Privacy Overview and Compliance Check Seminar” on August 23, 2023, to address emerging issues and concerns in safeguarding personal and sensitive information—distinguished guest speakers from the National Privacy Commission, Atty. Cleto E. Monsanto Jr. and Mr. Jeffrey M. Calara shared comprehensive insights with regard to data protection regulations and compliances with the law particularly the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).PPSC remains committed to the highest public safety education and training standards as we level up and prepare individuals to face the challenges of the digital age while upholding ethical and legal data-handling practices.
