“The heroism of the 44 members of the elite Special Action Force (SAF) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) is a story that should be remembered and retold to the next generations”.
The National Police College, true to its objectives in Nurturing and Caring Patriotic Leaders, made an Administrative Resolution to commemorate the Gallantry of the SAF 44 every 25th day of January and dedicated a place called the “SAF 44 Forest Part” for its purpose.
On January 25, 2023 (Wednesday) marking the National Day of Commemoration for the SAF 44, all activities will be suspended in the 5 Campuses of the National Police College to give way to such an important event.
The said event, spearheaded by the NPC Director: DR. ROMEO SEVILLA MAGSALOS, announced that ATTY KEVIN AMUTAN ANARNA, Mayor of Silang, Cavite, will grace the Gallant SAF 44 Commemoration.
