In the exigency of service, on June 30, 2022, pursuant to Special Orders Number 2022-055, Dr. Romeo Sevilla Magsalos, MPSA, Director of the National Police College was designated as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC)
A journey of a man of dignity and a public servant who desires the highest form of integrity and commitment to his sworn service is endless. A man of action and substance, strong-willed and output-oriented who produced numerous achievements in all aspects of his career that roused a ripple of excellence and a positive outlook in the institution he represents.

A dreamer that turns them into reality never runs out of creative and innovative ideas for
organizational development which brought inspiration and admiration among his superiors and subordinates. A leader, whose iron hands crafted and molded competent, responsible, and dedicated followers turning them into prized employees. He carries an incredibly soft heart that crumbles with every struggle his people and organization face and genuinely rejoices in all accomplishments.

To mention a few, it was during his stint, that NJMPTI Evergreen Club Award, a first-time distinct award of extending the never-ending gratitude for former colleagues who had served the PPSC, particularly the senior citizens who aged with dignity, purpose, and grace; made himself physically available during the Joint Monday Flag Raising Ceremony of the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) and National Forensic Science Training Institute (NFSTI) on July 18, 2022, he emphasized the value of patriotism, social graces and etiquette for future Public Safety Officers. He also approved the opening of the Fire Basic Recruit Course (FBRC) Class No. 2022-04 at Satellite Campus in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat; initiated the clean-up drive, trimming of trees, repainting of the administrative building facade, mounting of two (2) projectors at the presidential hall
located at the admin building, repurpose the first floor of Matatag Hall as an Executive Office, and took notice of the value of increasing the MOOE per office, in the PPSC Head Office.

Dr. Magsalos, a dashing officer and a gentleman, capable and well-disciplined in all his ways, exudes passion and extraordinary ability to fulfill tasks given to him with flying colors. Indeed, his attributes are worth emulating by every aspiring leader, and magnetic charisma, a leader who is truly “one of a kind!”
